Course Offerings at AIOA

At AIOA, we offer rigorous, college-preparatory courses designed to challenge gifted and high-achieving students. Our flexible, self-paced model allows students to accelerate through coursework, pursue early college opportunities, and graduate on their own timeline while receiving personalized support.

Graduation Requirements

 Students must complete 24 credits to graduate. We recommend taking 6 credits per year for on-time graduation.

Core Requirements:

  • 4 credits Language Arts (including American Literature)
  • 3 credits Mathematics
  • 3 credits Science
  • 3 credits Social Studies (including U.S. History & Government)
  • 1 credit Foreign Language
  • 0.5 credit Physical Education
  • 0.5 credit Health
  • 0.5 credit Fine Arts
  • 0.5 credit Personal Finance
  • 1.5 credits Career & Technical Education (CTE)
  • 6.5 credits Electives

Important Notes:

  • Math and English courses must be taken in sequence.
  • Science courses have prerequisites (e.g., Math II is required before Physics or Chemistry).
